GS Customs
GS Customs is owned by Gilbert Flores. It's a full one-stop custom shop on Bauman Road in north Houston, serving Houston and the Greater Houston area.
Built from the ground up
Gilbert comes from a family of custom car builders. His grandfather owned a mechanic shop, and Gilbert started building lowrider bikes in 1992. In high school he joined a local car club and started helping other members with their builds.
He spent 20 years as a machinist in oil and gas and kept doing custom work on the side. In October 2021 he left that career and opened GS Customs with two close friends.
Today the shop builds lowriders, trucks, slabs and motorcycles. The rule inside is simple: every customer and every build gets the same treatment, big job or small.
More than the shop
GS Customs is three things: custom builds in the shop, a store that's on the way, and car shows the team has organized and run. The shop also holds an annual toy drive and back-to-school drives.
